Yeah I think it will be a fun boat. Though in a next addition it might be good to drop some rocker to gain some initial stability.

Since the launching the boat's been doing odd duty. Sarah liked it well enough to use as a decorative wall hanging over the couch. Its being used as a wall hanging over the couch.:) Put a Christmas bear in the cockpit etc. Not what it was designed for, but it looks great. So I guess its found a winter job too. Still, I'm Looking forward to seeing it on its sandy summer home though.

Great! sounds like your deep into your project. What kind of design are you building? What kid of paddling etc.? Show us some pics.

I don't know if this will help, (especially if your in mid project) but I think if we build another boat for lake paddling we'll proboblly drop some rocker off the midrifts and add more hull girth towards the bow and stern, to gain some initial stability. Were still crunching around on that.

Tweaking is half the fun. AND..... its a great excuse to build another one!

Well, today is canoe seats and mating Guillmot E deck/hull. Guess I better get into the shop.
