: I would like to get some form of dust collection - either a dedicated dust

As you can see from the picture I have a pretty simple but fairly effective system in my garage/shop. I used the Rigid vacuum system piping and fittings (only partially impressed) and originaly tied it into a shop vac under the radial arm saw. That proved to be too noisy so I ended up building a small enclosure on the outside of the garage and piping to it, with a switch near the radial saw to turn it on. Can't hear the vacuum at all!
I also use a 20' pool vacuum hose to connect to the portable tools from a central ceiling outlet that allows me to move around pretty easily.
