Anyone here use RAKA's special 3.8 oz tight weave tape? This tape is definately a tight weave. I tried to wet out a test piece and it wouldn't wet out at all. Their website says care must be taken when wetting out. They sure are not kidding. I decided to go with that material for the deck to hull seam on the outside because it was thin, supposedly strong in the direction I want it to be, and didn't have a selvaged edge. The only down side is I can't seem to wet it out. I have already contacted RAKA via e-mail, but thought some here might have come across the problem and have some words of encouragement.

One thought was to warm my RAKA epoxy slightly to thin it out a little and maybe it will flow into the tape better.
