Someone had this suggestion in the past and it sounded good to me.

How about using "The Club Steering Wheel Lock" in the cockpit and using a cable lock from there to your rack, which should have locks to keep people from stealing everything. The Club is difficult to remove, so even if they defeat another part of the system they are left with having to remove the Club.

The big question is, do they make a Club Steering Wheel Lock big enough for most cockpits? Anyone have one that they can measure how far it expands?
