I've got a similar problem, the reinforcment tape I used for the stern keel line has a whitish haze from many very small bubbles. I really don't like the way it looks and would like to sand it off and redo with a piece of cut cloth. I'm nervous that I may make it look worse by sanding and redoing.

Do you have any advice on technique and comments on the overall success of this procedure?
