Does anyone have experience or comments on using bomar plastic hatches? A 10" can be purchased from Hamilton Marine for about $24 and an 8" for $21. It looks like they would work fine on a flat decked boat such as the Glen-L (sorry guys)I'm working on, and the price is very reasonable compared to VCP stuff. Also found a thing called a Cat Bag from Viking Mfg. that looks like it would be ideal for a day hatch. Basically a plastic hatch with an integral waterproof nylon bag attached. Comments?
