: Does anyone have experience or comments on using bomar plastic hatches? A
: 10" can be purchased from Hamilton Marine for about $24 and an
: 8" for $21. It looks like they would work fine on a flat decked boat

: reasonable compared to VCP stuff. Also found a thing called a Cat Bag from
: Viking Mfg. that looks like it would be ideal for a day hatch. Basically a
: plastic hatch with an integral waterproof nylon bag attached. Comments?
Have you considered the Kajak-Sport hatches? Simply put, they are the state of the art in the industry (period)! Web site below. Good Luck!!!
