The design is the North Star by Rob Macks, Laughing Loon Kayaks. I purchased the plans from him last summer. When the hull is finished it will be removed from the strongback by removing the screws holding the L-brackets to the strongback. The hull will then be placed upright between the stands in a sling of sorts, Then the L-brackets are removed leaving the forms still attached inside. You can the strip the deck. I believe this is the way but I'm citing from memory of the plans while at work. (Thats lunch break) Here is a link showing various stages of it as I built it.
