The best idea I've heard came too late for building my own shop so I don't actually know how well it works. Draw a scale model of the shop. Then draw and cut out scale pieces representing the tools you already have as well as the ones you expect to acquire in the near future, making sure to include infeed/outfeed spaces. Arrange and re-arrange to your heart's content or at lease until the shop is ready and the tools must go in. Tom
