Hi Folks

Building things isn't always as simple as we write it up to be. I was at Home Depot a week ago, or so, and picking up materials for my steamer. I was helped with several pieces by the gentleman in that section, and actually he was quite interested in what I was building and wants pictures when I'm done. Anyway, I didn't have sense enough to get a basket on my way back to the isle I needed, so, after I had made my selections, I decided to just assemble all the parts the way they would go together and then only have to carry one piece throught the store to the counter. Great Idea!! Until I rounded the corner and entered the register area.

It's cold outside, so, I'm wearing my heavy Levi's, jeans and jacket, scarf, woolie cap, biker boots and dark glasses. I come around the corner and there are several people milling around and of course some in the check-out lines with the clerks crunching away on the registers. Immediately, several people near me gasped and a few jaws dropped to the floor, probably needing to go to tools and get a floor-jack......... never mind. Again, here I am with this item tucked under my arm and 4 little dark colored wheels in my other hand. Everyone is looking at me now and I'm starting to get a little curious. Two ladies at the nearest counter backed up and started towards the door, and it was then that I realized what was up. I swung the parts around in front of me, which was probably not the best thing to do, at this point in time, as some of the folks nearest me flinched and then all just breathed a sigh of relief and more or less went about their business. I kinda smiled, cause that's what I do, just kinda smile and quickly dis-assembled the " Bazooka " and went about my business. Wouldn't be surprised to see my picture up on the wall at work.

Hey, I may look mean and nasty, and truth be known, I like it that way, but, I'm really a sweet, warm and loving kinda guy. Hey, I play with my grandchildren, I sew and I even bake....... and decorate cakes. Just look.
