Better that it happened at Home Depot, picture this....what if there was no other people in line at the lumber store to warn you what you looked like and you were a little short of cash so your next stop was the bank next door...complete with an armed guard. You'd have to add extra material to your spray skirt tunnel so you didn't take on water.

: Building things isn't always as simple as we write it up to be. I was at Home
: Depot a week ago, or so, and picking up materials for my steamer. I was
: helped with several pieces by the gentleman in that section, and actually
: he was quite interested in what I was building and wants pictures when I'm
: done. Anyway, I didn't have sense enough to get a basket on my way back to
: the isle I needed, so, after I had made my selections, I decided to just
: assemble all the parts the way they would go together and then only have
: to carry one piece throught the store to the counter. Great Idea!! Until I
: rounded the corner and entered the register area.

: It's cold outside, so, I'm wearing my heavy Levi's, jeans and jacket, scarf,
: woolie cap, biker boots and dark glasses. I come around the corner and
: there are several people milling around and of course some in the
: check-out lines with the clerks crunching away on the registers.
: Immediately, several people near me gasped and a few jaws dropped to the
: floor, probably needing to go to tools and get a floor-jack......... never
: mind. Again, here I am with this item tucked under my arm and 4 little
: dark colored wheels in my other hand. Everyone is looking at me now and
: I'm starting to get a little curious. Two ladies at the nearest counter
: backed up and started towards the door, and it was then that I realized
: what was up. I swung the parts around in front of me, which was probably
: not the best thing to do, at this point in time, as some of the folks
: nearest me flinched and then all just breathed a sigh of relief and more
: or less went about their business. I kinda smiled, cause that's what I do,
: just kinda smile and quickly dis-assembled the " Bazooka " and
: went about my business. Wouldn't be surprised to see my picture up on the
: wall at work.

: I'm really a sweet, warm and loving kinda guy. Hey, I play with my
: grandchildren, I sew and I even bake....... and decorate cakes. Just look.
