Thanks so much for all the response!!! Again, I am not new to this bulletin board, just new to responding to it. I thought I would tell you more about the shop that I'm using and urge you to get one started in your community. I am lucky enough to live in the home of Porter-Cable/Delta tools' home office. They donated to the city (Jackson, TN) a complete workshop... basically 2 or 3 of everything they make. You pay $8 an hour (or buy block time even cheaper) to use the shop and all tools, and they even let you try out new tools and give your input on them. Just a sample... 3 Unisaws, a 12" jointer, 18"planer, 3 jig saws, tons of belt sanders, including one that has to be at least 5 feet long... a true dream workshop. I was able to cut the forms for my Atlantic 19' in 3 hours.
By the way, no pictures of the thumb prior to getting wrapped up. I have a really cheap web camera. If I can get it to work I'll try to get a picture when they take the bandage off. Thanks again for the support. The pain is finally going away. Again, I appreciate all the response.
