Straight lines could enhance the curves by contrasting them, but I
think you'd need to keep them to a minimum. You might try keeping
cords at right angles to the keel line--parallel deck bungees and only
2 meters of perimeter line right along the sheer, maybe. Single grab lines at
the bow and stern would probably be functionally similar to perimeter lines.

After working so many hours on the boat, it's worth the trouble to snip
and knot a few bungees.
