It looks really nice Ross. I look at your boats for inspriration. I may try some kind of inlay and I would like to ask a question. After you made your snake like pattern and glued it all together, did you then lay it on your deck and trace around it, then cut or router out the hole, and then carefully fit and match over time until it fit? This looks like it would take quite a bit of time and patients to get a good fit. Thanks.
