Iv'e been lurking on this wonderful forum for sometime now without much to contribute. As to your request for info on a guide boat plan, you might check your library's archive for February 1973 Popular Science. They had plans for a 16' strip built, take apart trail boat. It is in effect two eight foot boats which portage easily, then fasten together. The following month (March) has plans for a sail if that interests you. I have a marginal copy of the article(s) which might be good enough to post, (or fax or mail or something) if you don't have any luck with your local archive.
