Hi all,
I've been looking at various designs to build as my second boat.(ie wife's) I'm going to build a Merganser 18 hybrid for myself and would like something smaller for her (5'6' 130lbs) in a different design. Has anyone built the Shooting Star and if so, any comments on the construction difficulty or paddling characteristics. L loon says it's a fast boat, so it should be able to keep up with the Merganser 18? Thanks for any information.
