I am just starting to build the Shooting Star. It is a relatively new design and judging from the kit suppliers, they seem to be preparing the kit for the first time. Maybe someone has built it directly from the plans and not used the suppliers.I will be glad to give you my impression but I am a loonngg way from that day.
