: John, my brother-in-law works for a big plastics company back home in
: wisconsin. he managed to get me a whitewater kayak. it was a blem, it
: didn't have a seat or any rigging. he knew i wanted to build so he thought
: he'd get me a boat. i took it, and with his blessing, traded it in at the
: local kayak shop for the nicest paddle i could get. i read in sea kayaker
: mag to spend your money on some good clothes, and the best paddle you
: could afford. then the remainder of your $$ spend on a boat. i also, use
: the paddle for motivation. it sits in the corner and glares at me every
: day. i just look at it and think,"...i know...i know..."
: the hitman...
: hey, did you see my son? i put a low quality pic of him on the bbs
: "helping":D
Hitman your son will be wanting his own kayak before long. You need to give him some wood to pound on, but watch the cement floor. I've been there and got the floor dimples to show for it. Take care,
John
