I am presently working on the deck of my Spring Run, and with Joe's permission "borrowed" one of his simpler designs (the Orca-type pattern). As I like a very clean look, I am more than pleased with the way it is turning out, and it also is quite doable for a novice in strip building. Joe was good enough to send me some photos earlier of fairly simple designs suitable for a beginner and also to give me advice on how to start the pattern. I have no way of posting pictures, unfortunately.
