Here is a cheap way to do it. Over head of your kayak on the garage ceiling wire light sockets maybe every three feet apart in one row and then put in cheap heat bulbs. Turn on the switch and you get instant heat on your boat, maybe too much. Just be sure it's wired and fused right. A small radiant panel is only going to give you heat in a small spot on your boat. Once that spot heats up and reflects the heat into the air it then becomes convection heat.
