Seems you've gotten lots of great response but I thought I'd pipe in since I just finished my 1st experience last weekend glassing my Silver. I too was intimidated with the idea but had a ball. I did not put on a seal coat. I wet the boat out in about an hour and fifteen ( 4 oz pots at a time - 60 - 65 degree shop) then squegeed for another 45 minutes. I added two other coats when the prior coat was still tacky, squeegeing after. I dedicated the weekend to it, starting at 10 sat, next coat at 8 PM, next coat at 10 AM sunday. (No fresh snow in the Tetons for the weekend so it was a good weekend). It looks wonderful.... still barely see the weave with an even coat.. no sags, runs etc. Have fun. I did...

Haven't started the deck yet as it is mighty cold here and getting my shop above 50 when it is -15 is hard.......
