Cheekplates

Liz,

Rather than hanging the cheekplates from under the deck, some of us have made them integral with the coaming. Just extend the vertical coaming strips along the cockpit sides in the area where you want the cheekplates. Of course, some of the aesthetic effect is lost behind the hip pads, but it can be a slick way to go.
