I think most of the posters here are building kayaks for fun, as opposed to profit. Although I will admit that more than one of us "fun builders" have probably thought about this as a side profession, if only fleetingly . . .
As with any sideline, hobby, or even profession, there is a learning curve. In addition to the learning curve there is new innovation. I dare to say that in the year I've been a member of this KBBS, virtually EVERY designer, builder, and contributor has grown, that is, new building techniques and strategies have evolved, and this community is incorporating them as if they were their own, and rightly so. We are learning from each other, and I consider myself lucky, and a benefactor of the free information flow on this board.
My point is, you used "to" where you meant to use "too," as in "too little experience" . . . (That is a joke, George . . .)
