In Response To: Stapless Deck Construction (Don B.)
I just went through that step 2-3 weeks ago. I managed to use good tape to hold the shear strip in place (placed along the shear strip). In addition I used small blocks of cedar (1/4"x1/4") and glue them with hot glue to the shear strip and form. With the grain orientation parallel to the shear, they fail fairly easy, but give also a reaonable amount of support.

: I'm done stripping the hull of my Guillemot and have it flipped over.
: I've done without staples so far, so what's the best way to hold the first
: deck shearline strip in place so I can continue to move along?
: Thanks in advance for suggestions,
: Don
