thanks for your consideration, george, however, i'm a bit more thick skinned than to take offence at something like "just build it."
i had thought that i may have asked an innapropriate question by useing the word "dangerous", but i couldn't think of any other way to put it.
paul's suggestion that it would take 400 to 500 lbs to turn it into a submarine was all i needed to make my decision.
