I would like to take the discussion of two days ago on vac systems a bit further. I, unfortunately am still a proud owner of a Sears Shop Vac. I have bought the best washable filter they make. It seems to work fine. My question is how does everyone deal with cleaning their vacs and disposal of the dust? Be it the washable filters, or washable bags and the inside of the vac itself? What a mess especially with my shop vac.
If you are a Fein, Porter-Cable, Hitachi and or shop vac owner, please respond. I plan on upgrading in the near future. By the way, I checked with the place I buy my tools and they told me the Hitachi and Fein bags and filters are interchangable. The Hitachi comes with more attachments than the Fein at the same price. Anbody have the Hitachi?
