Hi everyone,
I will need to start steaming strips to confrom to my deck pattern (Joe's return deck patterns). I use 1/2" Walnut and Yellow cedar for accents. I plan on steaming the strips in the areas where I have a lot of curvature on a jig and then install them on the deck with hopefully only a little bending.
I'll follow Shawns advice and intend to use a damp cloth and an iron. How long should I wait for the strip to dry prior to gluing them in place on the deck. Any worries about future distorsion if glued let's say after 24h?
Thanks for any advice.
Andreas
