So, what is the throw weight on one of those 12 ga. paddles? lol I have this mental image of a spoon-shaped cedar-stripped paddle blade cum shotgun stock, with a 24" barrel for a loom, made Damascus-twist style with carbon fiber. I'll bet that if we started with a break action instead of a repeater we could get it down to under 10 lbs...
