: with the horizontal one mounted on a bolt in your T-slot?
Pete...You remind me once again to be very careful not to include anything in any picture that I'm not prepared to defend or explain, you guys notice everything!! 8-) Yes, it is bolted. I found that a 1/4"-20 elevator bolt (1"D head) filed just a little on each side slides in nicely and does not turn when tightened.
: Two suggestions. A block clamped to the fence above the blade could prevent a
: manicure; a featherboard would be pretty hard to work with on this setup.
: And one of those big phenolic plastic wheels cast around a nut makes
: featherboard adjustment a quick one-hand operation.
That's the beauty of this setup.... nothing needs resetting once initially adjusted. The horizontal featherboard stays aligned with the bearing. The only thing that moves is the fence to sandwich the board against the bearing and the horizontal featherboard for the next pass.
