I'd have to agree with Pauls comments regarding the bandsaw. I have an Incra fence, and can accurately rip strips to the outside by moving the fence the same amount for every cut - usually 1/4 + 1/8" for blade thickness. But I will only rip this way if the strip thickness is not enough to support itself between the fence and the blade. 1/8" or less, generally. With 1/4" strip, usually the last few inches are trimmed anyway so if there is a blade mark it doesnt matter.

But it's a really nice jig, shows good design and crafstmanship. Bet it'd be killer on a bandsaw.
