I didn't have much time to respond last time so I kept it short. Here's a longer response.
If you look at ALL of the threads above mine (except yours, it made absolutely no sense), they all say to go ahead and epoxy until your hearts content. I was trying to let Scott know that there COULD BE a health problem if he doesn't separate it from the rest of the house. For that you call me an SOB?
Of course I am concerned with my family's health. That is why I blocked off the epoxy from the rest of the house. The plastic wall separates off a section of the basement from the rest of the house. There is an outside door to that section that I use to go in and out of there. Unfortunately the forced air heat puts more pressure on the epoxy side of the plastic than the living quarters side, as can be seen by the way the plastic hangs. I have taped up all the air leaks using "DUCK" tape (Spidey's favorite stuff). I even taped up the closed heat vent to that side of the room.
George, we can't all live in Kansas where the price of an out-bulding is virtually nothing so please send this SOB $30,000.00 so I can add on a new wood shop to the back of my garage. I'll get started building it right away and I'll write you again if I need more money.
