I won't be able to match your building pace, but I hope to match your quality. Nice job, Liz. A paint scraper should take that tape residue off well enough for planing and sanding. Acetone and other aromatic hydrocarbon solvents should be avoided because a lot of them are recycled (there's no way to tell by reading the label) and contain unknown impurities. Sometimes they get left behind and cause "fisheyes" in the epoxy. Also there was a thread recently about avoiding tack rags because they may contain wax, which does the same thing.
