: Brion,If your sheer joints are that tight you did a great job on the deck.Larry is right,there is plenty of epoxy in the joint.You could not remove the deck now if you wanted to.I lightly sand the hull below the sheer line before glassing the deck.I do this to make sure I get a good bond since the hull was probably glassed more than 72 hrs before the deck.Good luck,Robert
