CA adhesives are sensitive to surface pH. Alkaline substrates will flash the stuff off, while acid can make it very sslllllloooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

The accelerator works for all pH conditions. Epoxy is alkaline, so expect faster than average results if there is any on the part to be glued.

: I wish I was as far along as you are and building my combing. One caution
: about instant glue--super glue (cyanoacrylate). It's not always so
: instant. Where I use to work it was kept with dry ice in balk and we used
: it like white glue we had so much of it and we didn't worry about it's
: price. Sometimes it was instant and other times something could set for an
: hour and it still wouldn't be set. But the accelerater truly made it
: instant, every time. And when you are glueing something internal that you
: can't get the acc. sprayed on to, you super glue one surface and spray the
: other and when they they touch you have a couple of seconds to get it
: positioned right. So be careful. It's just another usefull tool amoung our
: many tools. Take care.
