Sorry--class ii rapids are fast water with waves but few obstructions. On the Ocoee, it generally meant a bouncy ride but no big rocks to steer around (or at least the current keeps you away from them). Class iii requires being able to get away from rocks and out of eddies. Even in class i, I'd prefer a shorter "recreational" boat with storage capacity. And of course, some basic river training.
