: into the Narrows, and they have had to evacuate folks. I haven't had a
: chance to paddle out there yet to see for myself. These pictures were

I heard on the news today that the majority of the slide is hanging just above seven of the houses in those pictures. Now that it's raining, it seems it's only a matter of time before that unique community is ripped in half. Too bad really, but it is a very precarious spot. When we paddled by last month, I remember wondering how those people sleep at night during the wet winter weather.
