: epoxy resins? thanks!
you may want to check on some of the two part linear poly paints, but regular gelcoat might work. it is made from an iso resin and if I am not mistaken it will work just fine. I do think that the gelcoat must cure fully in the mold before you lay up the epoxy. but do not use a surfacing agent in the gelcoat, let the gelcoat harden overnite and spray on a thin layer of pva to seal it so that it cures fully than all you need to do is wash the pva out of the mold with water and let it dry.
but don't take my word for it. I have layed up a lot of small boats and parts but only with polyester resin, not with epoxy
