Vacumebagging allow multi layers?

was a stunning site... for me anyway. He even built his own autoclave to cure the epoxy in 2 hours. But I have a question for the Epoxy Guru's. If you go to all the trouble to vacume bag... can you do multiple layers as efficiently (epoxy wise) as doing one layer at a time by hand? And looking only at the epoxy and fabric side of things (assume the vacumebag rigging) is it any harder to set up.
