Thanks Dale, its a 17 and does handle very nice. Actually yesterday was my first time in a single, when renting we've always gotten doubles to save a few bucks. I sure liked the ability to turn quickly and easily. Are you expecting to finish the single this spring? I'd love to go for a paddle.

From Lowell park you would paddle east about 1/2 mi and turn north into Ebey. I've done that loop in a small powerboat, it took about an hour at 15 knots, would be a great long day trip.
