Forgive me father Nick for I have sinned.
I have cast my boat upon the waters twice, yea thrice thus without having completith the vessel.

The first, the sin of impatience, not having the fortitude to apply yet another layer of epoxy on a seaworthy vessel on such a fine and sunny day.....Twice.

The second and more grevious sin the following day came, to my shame, not because of the abundant sunshine but having tasted of the pleasures manifesting themselves in fine tracking and effortless turning, I, to my shame, was overcome by the water, wind and waves and lack of family present to hold me fast, I threw myself forthwith into the sin with great exuberance and a large measure of grinning and a little maniacal laughter. I ventured much further, though not far from the bank of safety having not yet completed the bulkheads and yea not even a sprayskirt to gird my loins.
I found it much harder to turn myself back at the appointed hour and fear that if, once again I am to succomb to evil, I may never finish the endpours and endure the neverending varnishing.

I ask your mercy on my weakness and promise to honor the designer of my craft by pushing ahead yea even to the final steps listed in the great book that has brought me so far.
