I sealed the outside and put it the end in a bucket of warm water (Approx body temperature or around 100 degrees). That made it cook fast enough to be done fast, but cold enough for the water to work as heat sink and keep it from getting too hot. I was using Raka, and I checked mine after a couple of hours by tapping it with a stick and it was hard.
