Long story short: I read Rob Mack's recent thoughtful post regarding reasons for sealing the hull first, THAN laying on the glass. I did it on my latest S&G last night and it came out GREAT. (I was careful to squeegee off as much excess as possible without pulling on the glass.) It looks much nicer than my first boat where I simply laid the glass on bare wood and proceeded to apply the epoxy over it.
