I've got a few opinions, but no experience yet. I plan to do the same thing, but with a recent job change, I lost my heated shop, and my plans to build a stripped-deck Cormorant were mothballed for a few months.

: Should I strip on forms or on some permanent deck

I plan to screw in temporary forms, and glass both sides of the deck. No permanent deckbeams, no sheer clamps. I will run the sheerline farther down on the sides of the hull (like the Guillemots) and seam it with glass tape inside and out.

I'm hoping to run a deck design down onto the side panels so I can "camoflauge" the sheerline, and the line where S&G becomes stripper should be blurred.

We'll see!
