Dave,

Be careful of too sharp of rubrails on the sheer. I have very sharp ones on one of my kayaks. I found that they actually cut one of the tie-down straps while travelling. The angle is probably about 120 degrees, but is not rounded over at all. I will probably be rounding it over in the near future.
