Thanks for the help guys. That is what I like about this board, you can always find help.
I cantilevered the beam over two sawhorses, hung some weight on the end, applied some heat from light bulbs over the middle of the beam and left it about 4 hours. Then I took the heat off and left it overnight. This morning the beam was almost straight. It remains to be seen if it will stay straight.
I am still going to route the holes oversize. And when I build another one I will do as you did Rehd. By the way Rehd, I like your dog, looks like my kinda dog.
