C&B cutters take about the smallest cuts of any router bits made. I can't understand why Porter Cable, or is Freud, makes a set on 1/2" shanks unless it's just to charge $90 for a set.

Buy the cheapest,with 1/4" shanks, they all have crabide cutters. I've used a cheap set for 10 years. You're cutting soft wood after all.
