I am also building an Osprey triple.
The same thought occurred to me.
I'd be very interested if you come up with
a workable solution.
Any other comments on the feasability of paddling this thing
as a single? I might just build mine as a double instead, since I am
building from plans, and haven't yet cut out the deck.
