Gaps

I'm building my very first kayak a Guillemot "L". I've finished stripping the hull and ready to turn it over to do the deck. My problem is there are some gaps between some of the strips. I'm blaming on inexperience...or bad glue...or not enough light in the shop...or on el nino... There are not a lot of them and I don't think they are that bad. My problem is everything I've done to try to fix them has looked worse then the gaps themselves. My question is can I just leave them? Will the air in them out gas when I glass? Will they cause a "dimple" in the glass as it cures?
