At this point, the forms are still attached to the hull (in a secure, but temporary fashion) using glue or ... I hesitate to utter the word... staples. (Some on this board consider staples to be anathema. Others have fallen short of the glory of staple-less construction, and others find no crime in them.)

And, of course, it is universally agreed that one should remove the forms prior to joining the deck and the hull.... for, ultimately, the hull shall leave its forms and cleave unto the deck. And take care with one's deck-to- hull- joint, so that what you have joined together, no one may put asunder.
