I guess that would be possible, but I'm not convinced that skeg deployment really needs to be that dynamic. It seems to me that foot operated rudders are very intuitive; you push a pedal and the boat turns one way, push the other pedal to turn the other way. I tend to think that using two footpegs to deploy and retract a skeg would be a bit confusing, though I guess one could get used to it. Using their Trim Tab control rather than the traditional slider is a reasonable idea. This would create a dual cable, pull-pull system which might be less problematic than single cable, push-pull systems. Their rudder blades may make good ske blades, too.
